To keep a favorite tune playing, simply open a second browser window, for surfing, leaving the first to play your favorite tune.Depending on the MIDI player your browser uses, you may exercize SOME control over the playing of background music. Just shift-click (or right-click) on the 16x16 mini-image, ( ), often at the top left of the page, to pause or rewind the sound. Try it now on the image in the previous sentence.
To control the volume of the MIDI file try using your computer's audio controls, either the general volume control or specifically the MIDI volume setting.
If you have sound but don't have a MIDI-ready browser you may wish to install a MIDI player plug-in, for example the one from Crescendo.
