Psalm
14 Tuesday Midday 1
The
fool thinks in his heart * “God is not present.”
They
are corrupt and do terrible things; * no one does good.
Yahweh looks down from heaven * on all
mankind,
to see if any are wise, * if any seek God.
But they all are stubborn, * and are
equally bad.
No one does good, * not a single one.
Don't all evildoers know * that those
who rob his people
are eating Yahweh's grain, * which they
did not harvest.
See how they formed a gang, * but God is in
the assembly of the just.
The council of the poor put the wicked to
shame, * for Yahweh is their refuge.
O that
from Zion * would Israel’s salvation come!
When
Yahweh restores * his people's fortune,
let
Jacob rejoice * and Israel be glad.
