Psalm
119:17-24 Thursday Midday 1
Be good to your servant that
I may live, * and keep your word.
Open my eyes that I may see *
the wonders of your law.
I am a stranger on earth; *
don't hide your commandments from me.
My soul longs and yearns * at
all times for your rules.
Rebuke the accursed
presumptuous, * who have strayed from your commandments.
Strip me of reproach and
scorn, * for I abide by your terms.
Though evil men sit and
gossip about me, * your servant meditates on your rules.
Your covenant terms are my
delight; * they are my counselors.
