Psalm
119:49-56 Tuesday Midday 2
Remember your word to your servant, * on which
you made me rest my hope.
This is my comfort in my
affliction, * that your word sustains my life.
The presumptuous deride me,
Everlasting Greatness, * but from your law I have not strayed.
When I remember your rules
from of old, * Yahweh, I am much encouraged.
Indignation seizes me *
because of the wicked who forsake your law.
Your statutes have been my
defenses * in the house where I lodge on my way.
I remember your name in the
night, * Yahweh, and your law while at vigil.
Indignity became mine *
because I observed your precepts.
