36:24-28 Saturday Morning 4
This is the word of the Lord:
“I will take you out of the
nations, * gather you from every country, * and bring you back to your
homeland.
I will sprinkle clean water upon you * to cleanse from all that
defiles you, * I will cleanse you from the stain of your idols.
Then I will give you a new heart, * and put a new spirit
inside you,
taking away your heart of stone, * and giving you a heart of
flesh.
I will put my spirit inside you, * and you will keep my laws * and
carefully carry out my commands.
You shall live in the very
land * which I gave your fathers.
You shall be my people, * and
I will be your God.”
