My antagonists sought to do away with me, * for my adversaries ignored your commandments.

Your word is tested, your Highness, * and your servant loves it.

Though I am young and despised, * I do not forget your precepts.

Your justice is just, Eternal One, * and your law is truth.

Though anguish and distress overtook me, * your commandments were my delight.

Into the justice of your terms, Eternal One, * give me insight that I may live.
