Psalm
61 Saturday Midday 2
God, hear my cry; * listen to
my prayer!
From the brink of the underworld * I call to you * as my heart
grows faint.
Lead me from that brink * to the Lofty Mountain.
Yes, be my refuge, * a towered fortress against the Enemy!
May I dwell in your eternal tent, * find refuge under the
shelter of your wings.
May you, God, hear my vows, * and grant the request of one
fearing your name.
Add days to the king's days, * turning his years into endless
generations.
Let him sit enthroned before God forever; * with kindness and
fidelity appointed to safeguard him.
Then I will sing your name forever,
* fulfilling my vows day by day.
